(1-2, Garsh.) Sleep in rest, peace, and hope for the joyful Resurrection O priests of God the Most High. (3-6, Arab.) The honourable old man, most generous priest, holder of splendid virtues and marvellous deeds, famous in humility, kindness, intelligence and learning, the Syriac Priest Butrus Qledjī died in the Lord two nights remaining from the month of Šubāt (=27 February) the year 1856. He lived for eighty years.
