The honourable old man, most generous priest, holder of splendid virtues and marvellous deeds, famous in humility, kindness, intelligence and learning, the Syriac Priest Butrus Qledjī died in the Lord two nights remaining from the month of Šubāt (=27 February) the year 1856. He lived for eighty years.
