English Translation

(1) This church was completed during the days of Mār Ēlīā XII, Patriarch of Babylon, (2) in the year 1887 of the Lord. Another sanctuary was built in the year 1902 of our Lord (3) during the days of Mār ‛Ammānū’ēl II, Patriarch of Babylon, through the diligence of the Priest (4) Patrōs Jajjō the Chorepiscopos, (and) at the expense of the citizens of the village of Karamlēš.
