(1) 221 5 V9 F070./ 'D/ 06 V"G706 (5) !+:7 '2 A (Garsh.) (1a) ‛Abd-Allāh the rabbān and ‛Āzar the rabbān, (3) of the village Būkdēdā Būkdēdā! (1a) have endowed (1b) this cross to the monastery of Naqert(āyā) (2) in the year 1941! of Greece (or: Greeks). B (Syr. 1) With you we will overcome (3) our enemies (1b) and on account of your name (1c) we will tram<ple our foes>. (4) This cross was fashioned during the time of Mōr Basīliōs Ēša‘iō in the year 1941. (2) rabbān ‛Abd-Allāh and rabbān ‛Āzar (5a) along with the congregation of the faithful (2) endowed this cross (5b) to the Monastery (2) of Mār Yūhannā (5) of Dailam, which is near Bakdēdā, in the year 1941.
