(1-5) In the name of the Living God, the Trinity and the Single One, whose throne is in heaven and whose abode is the magnificent light. He is the beginning and the end, and his being has no beginning. Through his everlasting (6-10) love he sent his eternal Son as he wanted. The Son put on a human body out of the nature of Adam. The chaste and brilliant Deacon, of sweet name and pleasant melody, left the earthly world and departed to the spiritual one. He is Yaldō son of (11-16) the priest Bihnām of the family Bēt-Qaššīšō-Yaldō, holding the faith of the holy Christian Church, the faith of the holy Church of Rome. He died in the month of Ōb (August), the 26th day, the year 187- of Christ, the year of Alexander x x x […].
