English Translation

(1-5) The One who set him—that is Yūhanōn of the Šmēs family, an honourable priest—over his divine treasury has delivered him from the temporal suffering in the year 1910, 16th of the sunny (month of) Iyyōr (May). He lived for sixty-four years, (6-9) nineteen of which he devoted to the rank of priesthood. He was a preacher and truthful teacher. He rebuked and admonished, while he was a watchman in the church of the Lord [… …].
