(1-5) Our late Father, the Priest Ishōq Biniamīn, is laid down here. A memrō following the metre of Mōr Ya‛qūb: The priest named Ishōq the Old has died! His life spanned eighty-seven years. (6-10) For thirty-six years he practiced priesthood, offering the living body and the blood of Jesus through whom we obtain forgiveness. He left this world in the year 1914 and was laid into funeral procession on the 18th of the sunny month of Iyyōr (May), leaving pains, groan, lament and weeping to his people. (11-14) Lord, through your mercy, make him worthy of standing to the right side, along with Melchizedek, Aaron and Pinchas, the venerable priests, so as to take delight in eternal Paradise. Deacon Abrōhōm son of the Priest Ishōq Biniamīn died in the year 1949.
