English Translation

(1-5a) In the name of God the Living, Trinity and Single One, whose throne is in heaven, and whose dwelling is the magnificent light: He is the First and the Last and his being has no beginning. (5b-10) Priest Bihnām son of Priest Īšō‛ (and) nephew of Bishop Karas, a venerable priest, beautiful of name and sweet of tone left this earthly world, departing to the spiritual one in the year 2083 of the Greeks. A pestilence took place in the village (11-16) and many people who could not be counted died. He who reads this epitaph let him say: Lord Forgiver, pardon the soul of this priest. And he who (says: May God) pardon him, he will be pardoned, and glory to God.
