English Translation

(1-5) Our venerable and blessed Father left the earthly world, departing to the spiritual one. He separated himself from us through death in the year 1936 of the reckoning of Alexander the (Two)-Horned, the month of (6-10) Nīsōn (April) of bridegrooms, the 28th day in number. The governor sent after him to settle accounts with him, but pestilence confronted him and carried him away from this world. (11-13) The name of the Bishop was Yūhanōn, and he was of Bēt-Kudēdā. May the Lord give rest to his soul.
