English Translation

(1-5) Peace be with you, O glorious in virtues Mār Behnam! Peace be with you friend of Christ! Peace be with you choicest among the heroes and the nobler among the martyrs! Peace be with you (6-10) ornament of the churches and gleaming crown of the monasteries! Peace be with you fighter who won and shone! Peace be with you, O hero! Peace be with you, (11-15) O hunter! Peace be with you, O source which gushes forth help for the hard-pressed ones! Peace be with you, O provider of healings to all who ask for them! The heavenly ones rejoice and the earthly ones exult (16-20) on the day of your remembrance, O Martyr Mār Behnam! Šem‛ūn, the wretched one, wrote it. Let the one who reads (this) pray for him: Pardon him Lord (21) God!
