(1-5) This holy church named after the Mother of God the Immaculate Conception was built in the year 1924 thanks to the generosity of our Holy Father Mōr Pius XI Pope of Rome, during the time of our Father Mōr Īġnātiōs Afrēm the Second Rahmānī Patriarch of Antioch, Mōr Francis Dominicus Berré, the Envoy of the Apostolic See who surveyed it, and Mōr Ġrīġōriōs Patrōs Habrā, the Metropolitan of the diocese of Mosul, and through the diligence of the virtuous man Na‛‛ūm ‛Abd-al-Karīm ‛Bēdā. It was consecrated during the days of Mōr Īġnātiōs Gabriēl Tappūnī, in the year 1932 of Christ.
