(1) Our Father Mār Mīkā friend of the life-giving One: Beg for mercy inside this sanctuary of yours on our behalf from the One who immolated and offered himself as sacrifice so that he may forgive our sins through this sacrifice. In the year (2a) 1876 of our Lord this holy altar was completed for the offering of the oblation of the body of Christ and of his (3a) forgiving (2b) blood, (3b) so as to become for us spiritual food and drink. The congregation that toiled in the construction, safeguard from every harm made by the world, the body and Satan, through the intercession of your Mother, O compassionate One, amen.
