(1-4a) In the name of the Eternal One, with no beginning from eternity and no end! On the hope and expectation of the resurrection and reward! (4b-8) This venerable priest, Priest Hurmizd son of Hannā, the brother of Mār Ēlīā Abūnā, lived in the faith and served the priesthood for thirty-five years. (9-11) He was born in the year 2158 of Greece. He died in the year 1912 of our Lord, on Easter-Saturday, the 6th of Nīsān (April).
