(1-5) Here is laid the late zealous priest, Priest Ēlīā of the family of the Priest Hōmō, chief priest of Alqōš (and) a skilled scribe. He was born in the year 1856 of our Lord, in the month of Iyyār (May). He was ordained priest in the year (6-8) 1895, the 15th of Iyyār (May). He died in the year 1932, the 30th of Iyyār (May). Pray for him!

(1) Here is laid on the hope of the resurrection the late father Chorepiscopos (2) Ēlīā Hōmō, the first (day) in the month of Ayyār (May), the year 1856. He was ordained (3) priest on the 15th of Ayyār (May), the year 1895, and died on the 30th of Ayyār (May), 1932.
