English Translation

(1-3) On the hope of the life of the dead! Here is laid the late priest Yawsep Nīsān. He was born on the 29th of Iyyār (May), the year 1882. He was ordained (4-6) priest on the 19th in the month of Tammūz (July), the year 1908. He departed from the temporal world on the 15th of Āb (August) the year 1949. Pray for him.

(1) This is the grave of the priest Father Priest Yūsif (2) Nīsān. He was born on the 29th of Ayyār (May), the year 1882. He was ordained (3) priest on the 19th of Tammūz (July), the year 1908. He departed to the eternal (4) abode on the 15th of Āb (August) the year 1949. May God have mercy of him. (5) Pray for him.
