English Translation

(1) In the name of the Eternal One, the Living and Giver of Life: On the hope of the resurrection and renewal of the (human) nature, (2) here is buried Abrāham the Priest, of the Qāšā Šem‛ōn Šekwānā family, (3) a skilled scribe and a learned one. He was born in 1850 in computation. (4) In the year 1882 he was ordained priest. The zealous one died in 1930 of our Lord—he left this temporary life (5) on the 5th of Hzīrān (June). Congregation of believers: Pray for him. (6) P. Qāšā.
