(1-5) This īwān was hollowed out and widened by five cubits in forty days, at the hands of the Brothers Hurmizd, Ishāq, Ēramiā, Yahb-Allāhā, Bar-‛Edtā, and Marrōgā, (6-10) during the leadership of the Abbot Yawsep Naggārā, the Superior General of the Chaldean monasteries, and through the care of the Abbot Tōmā of Karamlēs, Superior General of the monastery of Mār and Rabban Hurmizd the Persian: The year (11) 1931 of our Lord.
