Hover a word for its meaning. Glosses draw on Amir Harrak’s translations and the SEDRA 3 Syriac lexicon (Beth Mardutho), used for academic purposes.

(1) God is about to send to you, people of Alqōš, one great eagle, who will rise above the angels in rank. He will establish his nest on this mountain besides you, and will have (2a) spiritual (1b) offspring. (2b) He who calls his name, our Lord will eliminate from him any disease. He will have power (3) over all the killing gall and poison of creeping animals, and this mountain will be called High Jerusalem. Come out to his encounter in joy.
