English Translation

(1-4) He died, departing while a youth but having acquired the rank of deaconate, so that he may take delight in the Kingdom. Yawsep was his name of baptism, son of the venerable Priest Ishāq, (5-7) of a noble and great house, of Alqōš in origin. He was the brother of Mār Ēlīā. It is written in the year 2084 of the Greeks.
