English Translation

(1-3) Here rests in hope for the resurrection, the Abbot Yawsep Dādīšō‛ Naggārā. He was born in Tal-Kēpē on the 4th of Ādār (March), the year 1885 of our Lord. He became monk on the 24th of First Kānōn (December) 1902, and was ordained priest on the 15th of Ḥzīrān (June) 1913. He assumed (4-6) the Superiorship General of the Chaldean monasteries for 18 years, and was the Archdeacon of the Patriarchal See. He departed from this temporal life on the 8th of Tammūz (July) 1959. Pray for him.
