(1-5) This church after the name of the Assumption of the Virgin was renovated, expanding it, from its foundations during the days of Mār Pius XII Pope of Rome and Mār Yawsep the Seventh, Patriarch of Babylon, through the diligence of Mār Yōḥannān Nīsān, Metropolitan and Bishop of the diocese of Zākō and Nūhadrā and the expenses of the citizens of Dehōk, the year 1948 of our Lord.
