(1-5) In the name of the Living God, the Trinity and the Single One whose throne is in heaven and whose abode is the magnificent light. He is the beginning and the end, and his being has no beginning. Through his everlasting love he sent his eternal Son as he wanted. The Son put on himself a human body out of the nature of Adam. He died and rose up (6-10) on the third day and on the last day he will come again to judge the human race. The reverend priest and the preacher of the church the Priest Mattī son of the Priest Yawsef of the Kidr Šannō family left this earthly world, departing to the spiritual one. He died on Palm (Sun)day, the third hour, 24th of Ōdōr (March), 1861 of Christ.
