(1-5) In the name of the Eternal One, who has no beginning or end. Here is laid on the hope of the life of the dead, a dedicated and hardworking priest, the virtuous Priest Francīs Haddād. He was born in the year 1892, in the month of First Kānōn (December), the 18th (day). He was ordained (6-10) priest in the year 1915, in the month of Hzīrān (June), the 27th (day). He served the priesthood for 27 years. He departed from the temporary life in the year 1942, the 15th of the month of Iyyār (May), in the feast of (Mary) Guardian of Seeds. May the Lord give him delight in the bridal chamber of the Kingdom. (11) My brothers: Pray for him!
