English Translation

(1-5) This computation was written the 4th of Nīsān (April), the year 1914 of our Lord. These three apses of the church of Mār Gīwargīs, the victorious martyr, were rebuilt from their foundations in the year 1906 of our Lord, the three stories of rooms in the courtyard in 1908, and the three galleries of bēt-slōtā in the year 1910, during the days of Mār Pius X, Pope of Rome, and Mār ‛Ammānū’ēl II, Catholicos-Patriarch of the blessed Chaldeans. (11-13) The priests and all the people of the land defrayed the costs of this building and with care. Priest Ēlīā Hōmō the feeble is the writer.
