This altar and the sanctuary named after the Heart of Life-Giving Jesus Christ was built, put together, and completed through the enticement (6-10) of the whole congregation of ‛Enkāwā, during the days of the Great Pontiff Mār Piuz! the Ninth <Pope> of Rome and of the entire Church, Mār (11-16) Yawsep <Audō> our Patriarch, and Mār Yōḥannān the Metropolitan, the adminis<trator> of our church, and through the assets of the church and the alms of the Christians. (16-18) This was in the year 1857 of our Lord, in the month of First Kānōn (December).
